Gunn Studio is the one-man, contemporary, mixed-media art studio ran by Ian Gunn out of his basement in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ian Gunn is a contemporary mixed-media artist by night and a high school art teacher by day. He is from the westside of Cincinnati, where he currently resides with his wife and 2 year old daughter.
A modestly accomplished artist and graphic designer, he has shown his work in several exhibitions throughout the Cincinnati area, including a solo show in 2024 at the Eva G. Farris Gallery in Northern Kentucky.
A dedicated educator, husband and father, pursuing a passion for art and creating for the love of the craft, he hopes his work can one day inspire his daughter, students and others.
Ian’s background in graphic design informs his current work, with consistent imagery, type and graphically centered compositions. He uses his own photography to collect assets for his mixed media work. Teaching art and design at the high school level has been the biggest motivator to continue his own fine art work.
